Jennifer Brown
Success Coach/Resource Coordinator
As a Pathways Success Coach, Jennifer is able to assess clients' financial health through one-on-one coaching and then develop a tailored set of recommendations to help clients improve their financial position and pursue their goals. In addition, Jennifer connects those in need in our community to available resources.
Julie Capaldi
President
For over 25 years, Julie has been leading the United Way of Pickens County. As President and CEO, she guides United Way's strategies to improve people's lives in the areas of Education, Financial Stability, and Community Basic Services. Her door is always open and you are invited to stop by anytime to witness the power of your donation in action.
Barbara Center
Resource Development Manager
Barbara is as detail oriented as you get, which makes her perfect for her role as Resource Development Manager. She maintains accurate donor information and is able to answer questions about your donation, tax documentation, and anything else related to data.
Karen Culley
Vice President of Community Impact
As Vice President of Community Impact, Karen leads the implementation of our community impact plan through our three volunteer impact councils, the AmeriCorps program, and facilitating the annual community investment grant process. She also oversees our 2-1-1 helpline, the Get Connected volunteer database, Born Learning, and other programs and initiatives.
Mark Eisengrein
Director of Planned and Major Giving
In his role as Director of Planned and Major Giving, Mark helps people extend their support and commitment to the future of Pickens County through estate planning and major giving. He also grows and strengthens relationships with major donors to increase their ability to invest in our community. He will gladly talk with you about joining the Palmetto Society, Tocqueville Society, or Heritage Society.
Teresa Nash
Success Coach
As a Pathways Success Coach, Teresa provides long-term, intensive coaching to hardworking individuals and families in Pickens County who are ready to take the next steps toward financial independence. She provides the tools, skills and resources critical for participants to break the cycle of poverty and thrive.
Larry Pope
Chief Operating Officer
In his role as Chief Operating Officer, Larry oversees several key functions including human resources, finance, and ensuring our compliance with all state, federal and United Way Worldwide standards. He also manages our endowment and donor advised funds.
Jeremy Price
Director of Financial Stability
Jeremy directs programs and initiatives that fall under our Financial Stability impact area. He oversees the AmeriCorps, Free File and Pathways programs, manages the Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and works closely with our Financial Stability impact council. Jeremy is also able to connect people to local resources they need.
Lyndy Schonhar
Director of Corporate Engagement
Lyndy helps companies achieve their corporate social responsibility goals, and helps employees positively impact the community, through workplace campaign giving and community engagement. Lyndy also advises the Clemson University Student United Way and is developing our Emerging Leaders program, helping the next generation of philanthropists learn how to make a difference in their community.

Vice President of Resource Development
As Vice President of Resource Development, Jennifer works to harness the resources needed to achieve United Way of Pickens County's Education, Financial Stability and Community Basic Services goals. She oversees the Resource Development area and facilitates Women United.
Joe Walker
Financial Empowerment Coach
In his role as Financial Empowerment Coach, Joe provides one on one counseling to individuals and families, helping them tackle their finances and get on a path to financial stability. He also is a huge part of the Free File team and works tirelessly to make sure this free tax service runs smoothly.
Nicole Zeiset
Financial Stability Associate
Nicole provides day-to-day management of our free tax program, Free File, including supervising support staff, recruiting and managing volunteers, and working with a coalition of partners and stakeholders in the upstate. Nicole also provides one-on-one and small group financial coaching for Pathways participants.
AmeriCorps Members
AmeriCorps Members are vital to our work in Financial Stability. They focus on workforce development, financial literacy, and connecting people to community resources.
