Financial Literacy Volunteers Needed

May 7 - 11 from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., volunteers are needed to assist AmeriCorps members as they teach basic financial literacy skills to children in Kindergarten - 5th grade. The principles taught will include concepts such as wants versus needs, spending decisions, and money responsibility. AmeriCorps members will facilitate the activities, and United Way will provide the curriculum and lesson plans. This is a wonderful opportunity to help instill strong financial literacy skills in children at an early age, and enthusiastic volunteers are greatly appreciated!
