Give a year fighting for the Financial Stability of everyone in Pickens County. Through this Corporation for National Community Service program, our AmeriCorps Members assist low-wealth individuals in overcoming poverty and in navigating community resources available to struggling families and individuals.
Volunteer to help greet or prepare taxes for lower wealth members of our community through our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. In a typical tax season, about 60 community volunteers complete IRS certification training and prepare over 1,500 tax returns for individuals and families with an average income of approximately $20,000.

The annual Women United Luncheon for Literacy brings the community together to celebrate the power of women, and to support the youngest learners in our community by raising funds to invest in early literacy through Preschool Pages.
Anglers high school aged and up are invited to participate in this fundraising fishing tournament which will take place April 9 - May 1, 2022. Guaranteed prizes for the top 3 places in each of 7 categories. Tickets are $35 each, or $55 with a t-shirt.
