Women United Preschool Pages is an initiative supporting the development of early literacy skills in preschoolers in Pickens County. You can support early literacy by donating books to the children attending programs at the six partner schools: Central Academy of the Arts, Crosswell Elementary, Hagood Elementary, McKissick Academy of Science and technology, Pickens Elementary and West End Elementary.
LUNCHEON FOR LITERACY
The annual Women United Luncheon for Literacy brings together women from across the community to enjoy an inspirational keynote speaker, network with like-minded women, and support early literacy in Pickens County.
This year's event will be held virtually on Thursday, March 25 at 12 noon. This "Lunchtime" for Literacy will feature nationally acclaimed network news anchor and correspondent Jane Robelot as the keynote speaker.
