Reliable employees hosted a canned food drive. United Way staff pose with the Reliable rep and the canned food collected.

Your company is part of this community. Your employees live here, shop here, and raise their families here. When you invest in Pickens County, your neighbors feel it. We're here to help make that investment count.

Partnership Opportunities

Your sponsorship puts your company's name alongside the work that's changing lives in Pickens County- from children learning to read to families finding financial footing. Choose the focus area and level that fits your goals, and we'll build a partnership package around it.

There's something powerful about a workplace that rallies together around something bigger than the job. An employee giving campaign gives your team a shared purpose- and your community feels the result.

Campaigns typically run two to three weeks. We'll handle the materials and walk alongside you every step of the way, so your campaign fits your workplace and your people.

Many of your employees may be leaving money on the table at tax time simply because they can't afford professional tax preparation. A Free File pop-up site at your workplace changes that, giving employees access to free, high-quality tax prep right where they work.

Free File serves individuals and families with a household income of $69,000 or less. There's no cost to your company, and the impact on your employees can be significant.

Your employees bring their whole lives to work. When something outside the job is weighing on them, a United Way Success Coach can help.

Through Pathways at Work, a Success Coach comes on-site and meets one-on-one with employees, connecting them to resources for whatever they're navigating. Sessions are free and completely confidential. The result is a workforce that feels supported, and a workplace that shows it.

Volunteer Opportunities

Born Learning Trails are found at parks and walking trails across Pickens County, where families stop to play, explore, and learn together. Your volunteer team helps keep those moments possible by cleaning up trail sites and refreshing painted sidewalk activities.

Available February through September. A $250 corporate sponsorship covers paint and supplies.

Ready to bring your team out? Contact Jeremy Price to schedule your trail refresh.

Every child who walks into Camp iRock on the first day of camp receives a backpack filled with supplies, ready for a summer of learning. Your team makes that moment happen.

Volunteers sort and stuff backpacks in April or May, ahead of camp's opening day. A $500 corporate sponsorship covers the supplies, and your company's name goes right into the backpack, so every camper and parent knows who showed up for them.

Interested in sponsoring and stuffing? Contact Jeremy Price to get your team involved.

Literacy kits put hands-on learning tools directly into the hands of Camp iRock students, giving them something to explore, create, and grow with throughout the summer.

Your team assembles kits in April or May, ahead of camp. At $500 per 100 kits, your sponsorship makes it possible, and your company's name is included in every kit so campers and families know who made it happen.

Want to bring your team together for this one? Contact Jeremy Price to learn more.

One caring adult can change how a child feels about reading. As a Reading Buddy, your volunteers spend one-on-one time with a camper during Camp iRock's three-week summer session, helping build skills and inspire a love of books and learning.

Volunteers commit to two visits per week of 30 to 60 minutes each. A background check is required. Training and supervision are provided by the School District of Pickens County.

Ready to make a difference one reader at a time? Contact Jeremy Price to sign your team up.

Financial literacy kits put practical, hands-on tools directly into the hands of children, individuals, and families working toward financial security through United Way coaching, workshops, and school programs.

Your team assembles kits, ideally in July or August though timing is flexible. At $500 per 100 kits, your sponsorship makes it possible, and your company's name is included in every kit so participants know who invested in their future.

A hygiene kit is a small thing that carries a lot of dignity. United Way keeps these kits on hand to deliver directly to neighbors experiencing homelessness and to share with partnering agencies across Pickens County.

Your team assembles kits on a schedule that works for you. At $100 per 30 kits, it's one of the most accessible ways for a corporate team to make an immediate, tangible difference.

A supply drive is one of the easiest ways to get your whole team involved in giving back. Choose a cause that resonates with your employees, set a collection spot, and watch your workplace come together around something that matters.

Current needs include socks during the winter months, books in fall and spring, Camp iRock supplies in May, school supplies in June and July, and food year-round.

Ready to rally your team? Contact Jeremy Price and we'll help you get started.
