Support Your Community through a Bequest

One way for you to support the mission and work of United Way of Pickens County upon your death is to leave a bequest. A bequest is an excellent way to donate cash, stock, real estate or even your car to a charitable organization in your will.
 
There are a number of ways you can make a bequest to United Way of Pickens County. Among those are:
 
Specific Bequest: A specific bequest involves making a gift of a specific asset such as real estate, a car, or a gift for a specific dollar amount upon your death. For example, you may wish to leave a gift of $10,000 to United Way of Pickens County.
 
Percentage Bequest: Another kind of bequest involves leaving a specific percentage of your overall estate. For example, you may wish to leave 10% of your estate to United Way of Pickens County.
