Born Learning Trails are interactive, walkable trails of signs for caregivers and children which foster early learning opportunities. Each sign suggests fun outdoor games designed to boost children’s language and literacy skills while helping families get active together.
Volunteer groups are needed from time to time to refresh the Born Learning Trails by painting the sidewalk activities, cleaning and mulching signs, and other maintenance tasks. Groups of 5-10 people ages 13 (with adult supervision) and up are welcome to volunteer. Fill out the interest form below and someone from United Way will contact you to coordinate details.
