This is for all Free File volunteers who are interested in being a tax preparer. During this training, we will cover basic and advanced tax law topics including:
- Filing Status
- Income including Self-Employment
- Adjustments to Income
- Credits
- Marketplace
- Tax law changes for tax year 2026
Volunteers will participate in classroom style discussion on key topics. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn and share among each other and get to know each other.
Please bring a laptop if you are wanting to work in Link & Learn certification site to start exam. A few laptops will also be available to use.
