Getting Started

This session is great for beginners or those who have not yet volunteered with Free File and want to know how to get started. You will review the Volunteer Standards of Conduct and Intake Interview & Quality Review certifications, set up a Link & Learn account, and Practice Lab.

Basic Tax Law Test Session

These sessions are available for you as you complete the Basic Tax Certification Exam. You can drop in anytime during these days and hours to work on the exam at your own pace, and to have your questions answered. We will be available to review scenarios and the certification process.

Advanced Tax Law Test Session

These sessions are available for you as you complete the Advanced Tax Certification Exam. You can drop in anytime during these days and hours to work on the exam at your own pace, and to have your questions answered. We will be available to review scenairos and the certification process.

Intake Coordinator Training

This training will review the Volunteer Standards of Conduct and Intake Interview & Quality Review certifications, and will go over the roles and responsibilities of an Intake Coordinator.

Site Coordinator Training

This training will review the Site Coordinator responsibilities and scheduling. If you are interested in being a Site Coordinator, please contact Nicole at 864-850-7094 ext. 131.

Mock Site Day

Mock Site Day is a hands-on training where we will practice Intake Interview and Return Preparation using TaxSlayer.
