Sometimes we can all use an assist, whether it’s on the court or in real life. Join the Clemson Tigers, Coaching for Literacy, International Paper and Cornell Dubilier to provide an assist to kids learning to read. 100% of donations will be granted to Camp iRock to support childhood literacy efforts in Pickens County! These funds will be used to provide books, resources, and tutoring for local children in K4-3rd grade..

You can make a one time donation, or pledge a certain amount per assist recorded during this game. Either way, your donation will help struggling readers in Pickens County get the literacy assistance they need through a fun summer camp experience at Camp iRock this summer.
Coaching for Literacy uses the power of sports to raise awareness about the problem of illiteracy and funds for literacy programs serving students in grades K-3. 100% of funds raised through #Fight4Literacy Games are donated to local literacy programs to help kids learn to read.
Coaching for Literacy has teamed up with Clemson University Men's Basketball to host #Fight4Literacy week February 26-March 4, including the #Fight4Literacy Clemson v. Notre Dame game on March 4.
Camp iRock was selected as the beneficiary of all donations raised during #Fight4Literacy Week.

United Way of Pickens County seeks to help children and youth achieve their potential through education and has established a bold goal that 70% of 3rd graders will be reading on grade level by 2025.
Camp iRock is a proven program designed to help meet this bold goal.
A partnership between United Way of Pickens County, the School District of Pickens County, and the YMCA of Easley, Pickens and Powdersville, Camp iRock is an innovative and award winning summer program which helps children improve their reading abilities in an enriching summer camp environment. In the spring, the School District of Pickens County identifies students who could use a boost in their reading abilities and sends their families an invitation to attend Camp iRock.
