There is a shortage of funding for the School District of Pickens County and its efforts to serve homeless students in elementary through high school and their families. In January 2013 the number of homeless school age children in our county was 1520, a 23% increase from January 2011. The current number exceeds 1600 students with about 90%... Need Type: Inkind

We are in critical need of diaper wipes and diapers - sizes 3, 4, and 5 - for our families in need. Please consider picking up a pack or two when you go shopping next or ask your church or civic group to sponsor a diaper drive for us.
